1973. Mr. Felix Revuelta, founder of the brand, is hired by an important company in the dietetic sector in order to carry out an economic study, for the company is going through a bad period. Its director proposes to him to experience that study and a few years later the company reaches a turnover which surpasses the three thousand million pesetas. 1986. After the company is bought by a multinational, Mr. Felix Revuelta sells his shares and creates the Kiluva Group, which will end up belonging to the Naturhouse franchise network. 1989 - 1991. The company experiences a considerable growth. With seventy employers and with sales for 5.5 million Euros. In 1991 the market of dietetic products gets liberalized, which brings about that, during the next year, new competitors enter the market. 1992. Kiluva opens its first shop to the public in Vitoria, and it is called Naturhouse. The aims are to turn the sector into a professional one and to develop a business model that may function with the franchise system. The shop is in an emblematic area in the city and offers several services ranging from dietetic products to massage or beauty products. 1993. The second Naturhouse shop is opened, but with a completely different concept: hired premises in an average income area where only dietetic complements are sold. During the next few years two shops will be opened and the actual Naturhouse model starts to be shaped. 1997. The Kiluva Group and its franchise network start to grow amazingly, and the opening of franchises and particular shops increases significantly. 1999. Opening of the first Naturhouse centre abroad: a period of international expansion of the firm starts in Portugal. 2005. The group impulses its international area with 385 employees and has shops in countries such as Germany, U.S.A., France, Italy, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Poland, Portugal and Venezuela. 2006. The company is awarded the Group Dossier Economic Prize to Internationalisation and the Premio Emprendedor Emergente 2006 Prize, organized by Ernst&Young and IESE. The Kiluva Group purchases Laboratorios Abad, Laboratorios Kelp and a factory in Lotz, Poland, in order to provide shops in Central Europe with products.
