Ignacio Bayón joins Naturhouse as an independent board member

Naturhouse’s Board of Directors has appointed Ignacio Bayón Marine as an independent member of the company’s board. The appointment was made through the co-opting procedure in place to cover the vacancy left by independent board member Juan María Nin Génova, who left his post in July.
Naturhouse, a company specialising in the sale of dietary products and dietary re-education, brings into its highest executive body a professional with proven experience and prestige in the field of business. As well as being an independent board member at Naturhouse, Ignacio Bayón is chairman of FAD, which fights drug addiction in Spain. He is also chairman of Citroën Hispania and leads Universidad de Comillas’ Board of Trustees. He is a former Minister of Industry and Energy (1980-1982) and has been chairman of a range of companies, such as RENFE, Espasa Calpe publishing house, Grucycsa, Osma and Realia. He has also been a board member at Nestlé, Canal Plus, Repsol, Telefónica, FCC and the Instituto Nacional de Industria, among others. Ignacio Bayón has a PhD in Law from Madrid’s Universidad Complutense and is also a State and Parliamentary Counsel.
