Barcelona, 20 July 2016.- Naturhouse, a company specialising in the sale of diet products and dietary re-education, has surpassed its growth plan for centre openings in 2015-16 six months ahead of schedule, registering 260 net openings in just 18 months compared to the 240 centres it expected to open in the whole of the aforementioned two-year period.

Naturhouse ended June 2016 with 2,214 centres, 91 more than at the end of 2015 and 54 more than at the end of March 2016. Once again, this underlines the Group’s capacity for growth, the success of its franchise model and its clear leadership in the countries in which it has operations.

International growth has, once again, propped up these figures. The greatest number of openings for the company in the first six months of the year took place in Poland, with 44 new centres, followed by France where 28 establishments were opened and Italy with a further 10. Spain has managed to recover one centre compared to the figures for 1Q16.

During the current financial year, Naturhouse has also increased its presence abroad to 32 countries, after signing master franchise agreements in Malta, India and Hungary, where the company expects to open 98 centres. The first centre was recently opened in Malta.

According to Félix Revuelta, Chairman of Naturhouse, “Fulfilling the guidance for 2015-16 ahead of schedule once again shows the Group’s strength in terms of expansion outside Spain, the high demand for our franchises, the suitability of our business model and, above all, that we have fulfilled the commitment we made with our investors when we went public.”

Naturhouse’s plans in 2016 are to continue opening new centres and carry on increasing its presence in markets outside Spain. The business is heading in the right direction in terms of meeting its EBITDA margin forecasts, which at the end of March were higher than planned (35.7% vs a target of 30%-35%), and its dividend commitment, as it estimates distributing at least 80% of profits to shareholders.
