Naturhouse increases its net profit by 12.3% in the first quarter of the year

Naturhouse increases its net profit by 12.3% in the first quarter of the year

• EBITDA increased by 8% year-on-year to March and the company’s network has grown by 50 centres in just 3 months, reaching a total of 2004 establishments.

Madrid, 12 May 2015.- Naturhouse, a company specialising in the sale of diet products and dietary re-education, has improved all its financial figures in the first quarter of 2015 thanks to a major boost from its international business and significant growth in net openings of Naturhouse stores. With an increase of 50 stores, the company has registered the equivalent of 80% of all net openings for the 2014 financial year in just 3 months. At 31 March 2015, Naturhouse registered operations in 27 countries via a total of 2004 centres.
The group’s total sales have climbed to €24.25 million in the first quarter, while EBITDA increased by 8% in twelve months to €8.55 million. With this, Naturhouse registered an EBITDA margin of 35.2%, which is above the upper threshold of the group’s target (30%/35%) for 2015 and 2016 and is also the highest in the industry. Net profits have increased by 12.3% to €5.82 million from €5.18 million in the same period of the previous financial year.
In the first three months of 2015, Naturhouse’s network of stores increased by 50 centres, reaching a new company record of 2004 establishments. At 31 March 2015, Naturhouse had registered operations in 27 countries, three more than in the first quarter of 2014 following the opening of centres in Russia, Panama and Switzerland, and it has signed master franchise contracts in Puerto Rico, Colombia and Tunisia, which are currently in the product registration phase.
Naturhouse was listed on the stock exchange for the first time on 24 April, an operation that attracted investors from Europe’s main financial markets. The group aims to distribute a payout of 80% of consolidated net profits. It also forecasts net openings of 240 centres between 2015 and 2016 – a goal that is getting increasingly closer given that 50 new Naturhouse centres (92% of which are franchises) have opened worldwide between 31 December 2014 and 31 March 2015.
